Firstly lets put it into context......
Law: Under Health and Safety law you are required to make a suitable risk assessment of a user's workstation. A "user" is someone who uses a computer as part of their main job or for a significant part of the day. A workstation is a term to describe a users desk, computer, chair and other equipment, collectively. An assessment of someone's workstation is called a "DSE Assessment".
Problems: Completing DSE assessments in an organisation is notoriously difficult. There are often many users spread out over different offices and locations. Scheduling appointments with every user, and making sure that all users have been seen is a headache. The sheer amount of time and paperwork involved to produce satisfactory assessments is a nightmare. Until now, the limited amount of software developed to try and help reduce this problem has been of poor quality and high cost.
Solutions: As you would expect, the easyDSE software tool has been designed from the ground up to solve these problems (and many more!)
How does the easyDSE software work?: The software has two broad functions;
Importantly, and best of all - the end user does not need to have any software installed on his/her pc to use the easyDSE software. The software instead is accessed via their web-browser through your company intranet.
